Real life Superheroes, we are back to honor you.
Cape Day 2020 is Friday, October 16th!
What is Cape Day?
First introduced in 2014, Cape Day is an annual tradition held in October that encourages the community to honor and celebrate the superhero patients battling illnesses and injuries at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
Every day, our patients overcome healthcare obstacles and face challenges that most of us could never imagine. We wear a cape in honor of them.
How to participate?
We are all determined to make Cape Day 2020 the best yet. CHOA and ACP have always found the inspiration we need to stay positive and stay focused on our mission through the endless strength of our families and kiddos.
After all the experiences everyone went through this year and the rollercoaster of challenges we all had to overcome, Cape Day is back to remind us that it’s time to place the resilience we’ve built where it is most needed.
Here’s how you can take part in the fun:
• BUY A CAPE OR SPONSOR ONE, and encourage friends and family to do the same
• Participate in one of the virtual CAPE DAY ACTIVITIES!
• Take a photo or make a video of your cape-wearing crew and share on social media with #CAPEDAYATL & #ACPHero
Since it began in 2014, Cape Day has been one of our favorite ways to celebrate these incredibly brave kids.
Every year, the ACP family gets together to wear capes and honor our kiddos.
But now more than ever, we need YOUR HELP to give these heroes the super-sized salute they deserve! Join us this Friday, October 16th to wear your cape for those who you love the most; our real life superheroes!
